That’s a no on the pears. Maybe Brit takes after me, I don’t like them either. But, when he tried them he gave the biggest “ewww” face we’ve seen yet and only took a couple of bites. This coming from the kid who gets furious when his other foods are gone. I finally got him to finish the jar–on the third attempt.

But, he does like bananas. I threw a couple of them into our handy-dandy new blender and it pureed them very nicely. He loves those.

This is when the peas were gone:

Here’s that cute cup drinking picture I alluded to last week

In other Britton news, he knows what he likes…and doesn’t. Unfortunately one of his likes includes an Elmo book. Mark and I took him to Barnes and Noble to find some books for our upcoming trip. We went through so many books trying to see what he was interested in. Apparently it’s finger puppets. We found a 5-finger puppet book of Old MacDonald with each finger being a different animal. He liked that it moved I think. Then, his other like was a book with Elmo as a hand puppet with moveable hands. The words in the book are to “If you’re happy and you know it.” Thankfully it doesn’t make noise, but he just loved watching Elmo. So, he has his first “character” toy. I hope we don’t have to get him any more for a while. I’m going to try to keep them unknown for as long as possible. But, if it entertains him on our five hour flight,  then I’m willing to deal.

In adult news, we got our first wholesale order for Sprout Shells, so another site is going to be selling them now too! It’s a site that does product reviews and helps parents decide what products to get for their children, but it also sells cute things too–like Sprout Shells.

Mark and I gave a presentation in a combined meeting at church on Sunday. We’re the emergency prep “experts” and talked about the basic things to do to be prepared. I had the communications plan–every family should have one. It is just a plan of where you plan to meet as a family in the event of an emergency/disaster. I didn’t feel like I did a great job. I got nervous and didn’t start how I wanted, and left a few things out. I didn’t hear Mark because I had to go to primary, but everyone has been telling us what a great job we did and how organized and interesting it was. Cool…..I’m glad we were effective.

I think that’s about it for us this week…I’ll end with some pretty darn cute pictures of Brit. He just loves looking at the camera and his big eyes are just accentuated.

I love his cute new pjs
